Requirements:

The following are the requirements to apply for general building construction supervisor jobs;

Qualifications: Secondary school graduation certificate is mandatory

Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years experience in the building construction field

Languages: English

Duties:

The applicants must perform the following duties;

• Responsible for preparing production and other reports related to building construction
• Also, supervise workers, and projects and schedule different activities at the construction site
• Oversee apprenticeship training & estimate costs and materials
• Excellent communication skills
• Effective interpersonal & time management skills
• Recruit and hire workers & carry out related staffing actions
• Ensure health and safety regulations are followed or not
• Resolve work problems and recommend measures to improve productivity
• At least supervise 3 to 4 people at the time
• Working under pressure and using a hard hat during duty hours
• Moreover, work with steel-toed safety boots and follow other regulations
• Read blueprints, and drawings and work accordingly
• Set up equipment and recommend personal actions
• Establish methods to meet work schedules
• Requisition materials & supplies and deal with related equipment
• Train new workers and assign various roles on a daily basis
