Requirements:

The following are the requirements to apply for a Gas fitter position within Canada;

Qualifications: Must have a Registered Apprenticeship certificate

Experience:3 years to less than 5 years

Languages: English

Duties:

The people who are willing to perform;

• Responsible to install and maintain services of gas heating units and their parts
• Also, test and replace defective equipment/ components
• Working in residential, commercial, and industrial environments
• Excellent communication & time management skills
• Outstanding interpersonal skills are required
• Advise client regarding standards and safety features of gas fitting equipment
• Ability to maintain gas units and related systems
• Possessing level 2/ B Gas fitter certificates
• Valid driving license with driving expertise
• Moreover, service gas appliances and related equipment
• Adjust the control mechanism and check pipes to diagnose any issue
• Test and check pipe connections for gas leaks using gas-detecting devices
• Use of safety equipment and steel-toed safety boots while performing duties
• Focus on client needs and perform accurate work accordingly
• Showing positive behavior and meeting customers with a smile
