Requirements:

Duties:

The applicants perform the following;

• Assist in the calculation, analysis & consumption of measurements obtained during surveys
• Conduct field surveys and operate instruments & computer equipment to measure distance, angles, and contours
• Supervise & coordinate field survey activities
• Record all measurements & information obtained during the survey
• Determine precise locations using electronic distance-measuring equipment
• Good communication skills
• Effective interpersonal & time management skills
• Prepare the preparations and compilation of all data & documents
• Advise & provide consultations on matters related to legal surveys
• Survey & layout subdivisions for rural & urban development
• Develop plans, methods & procedures for conducting legal surveys
• Use of MS PowerPoint, Word, Excel, GPS, GIS & Computerized land information system, etc
• Specialty to take topographic, land, hydrographic, mining, severances, condominiums surveys, etc
• Manage & display data using geographic information systems & computer-aided design and drafting
• Participate in field surveys & operate instruments & devices used in the field
• Keep records, and other survey information in systematic order
