Requirements:

The following are the requirements to apply for stock clerk positions within Canada;

Qualifications: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience: 1 to less than 7 months

Languages: English or French

Duties:

The people may perform;

• Direct customers to the location of articles sought
• Stock shelves and display areas & record incoming stock
• Perform general cleaning duties i.e. sweeping and mopping floors etc
• Provide customer services and operate cash register
• Excellent communication skills are needed
• Time management & interpersonal skills
• Unpack products received by store & count, weigh/ sort items
• Obtain articles for customers from shelf/ stockroom
• Moreover, carry customer’s purchases to the parking lot
• Pack orders in customers’ vehicles/ designated places where customers needed
• Price items using stamps/ stickers according to the price list
• Keep stock clean and in proper order
• Physically fit and handle heavy loads up to 45 kg
• Should be focused on clients and work as a team player
• Working in air-conditioned supermarkets/ grocery stores
